Todd is married to Jennifer, and they have four children ranging from high school to elementary school ages. He grew up unchurched, but, after a season of exploration, accepted Christ at age 20 while a student at Kansas State University. Since that time, Todd has had a passion to help the unchurched understand and embrace the Bible's transforming message of grace. This passion has led him to seasons of ministry on the K-State campus, on campuses in China, and at The Ohio State University. In January 2015, Todd partnered with his family and a core team of friends to start The Village. Prior to this, Todd served on staff with New Hope Church in Manhattan for 10 years, and then had a short stint working with Ichthus Student Ministries at K-State.
Todd is particularly interested in history, and is currently a graduate student in the K-State history department. Todd also has a Master's of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd also loves to run, bike, hike in the mountains, and read. If you come out to The Village, you will regularly find Todd on the porch enjoying a pint of stout beer, a pipe, and some good conversation.
